Living Quarters for the Past 4 Days

Today was a Good Day

The ash from the volcano blew into the valley today. Made for some interesting conditions this morning.

20 Hours on a Bus

Spent 20 hours on a bus from Buenos Aires to Bariloche. Surprisingly not as bad as it sounds. Definitely worth it when you see what awaits you. Not to mention the premium movies we had to watch:

  • Twilight: Eclipse
  • Big Mamas House 2 or maybe 3 or 10
  • Some shitty love story about the 50s
  • Lady Gaga: Born this Way, and finally
  • The Six Wives of Henry Lefay

Buenos Aires

My luggage finally showed up. Perfect timing too, we left for Bariloche the next day. Buenos Aires is wild. Restaurants and bars don’t open until about 8-9 pm. Nobody eats dinner until about 11. I definitely fell asleep at the dinner table after drinking 3 bottles of wine. Clubs are open til 7-8 am. Not easy to adapt. I stuck with what I know, drinking wine and blacking out early. It’s been working so far.

Transportation for the day

Everyone has singles. I think I only saw 2 twins and 1 Harley.
