I voted for this '74 IronHead in the "Best Modern American" category... there were no modern American bikes at the show so it won. Ha!

Mother’s Day
Rode the K1 out the the ‘burbs and washed it in the yard while mom did some gardening. Also found some killer vintage BlueBlockers at a swap meet (along with some random tools, etc). Great day.
Banana to the Rescue
Nothing like helping some Damsels in Distress. A quick run to the garage for some parts and tools get this curbside fix underway – I was drinking free beer in no time. Snapped clutch cable on mid-2000 suzuki 650, rigged with a 72 honda clutch cable to shift her home. Serious Man points awarded.
VW Westfalia Road Trip, Part 1: Klaus the VW
Driving to Zion. Rogue campfire at some random Utah wash with a pallet and garbage desk we ‘found’ in Grand junction. Ian chopped wood in the back of Klaus while I drove. Summit County, Colorado. Etc. 3000 miles, round trip. Climbing pics tomorrow.
